GOYA
GOYA at Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church engage our youth in various activities such as community outreach and spiritual leadership programs to support the GOYA mission to preserve Orthodoxy as a permanent way of life.
GOYAns meet at least once a month and their focus is to "Bring Glory to God" in all of their activities which include visiting shut-ins, fundraising, Christmas caroling, attending and reading during Church services, overnight retreats, community service, bowling etc.
Each year they sponsor "Youth Sunday" in November. On this day the GOYA takes the place of the Parish Council by greeting people at the Narthex, ushering, sponsoring the fellowship hour, and even delivering short sermonettes on various topics given to them by Father John.
This year, the main fundraiser is a car wash at the church grounds.
GOYA is made up of 7th to 12th graders and their officers are as follows:
- Stefano Taousakis - President
- John Fellios - 1st Vice President
- Markayla Stroubakis - 2nd Vice President
- Catherine Lee - Corresponding Secretary
- Joshua Lee - Treasurer
Andreas Letsos is serving as GOYA director. He can be reached at 760-688-6047 or email.

The Youth Choir members are learning traditional hymns used during the liturgy as well as special seasonal music. There is time allotted during Sunday School on two Sundays per month, to not only learn the hymns but also to understand why the hymn is used during the liturgy.
The Youth also have the opportunity to sing the hymns they have learned during the Sunday service, both as the Youth Choir and joining the adult choir on numerous hymns.
For any questions, or to get involved, please contact Connie Fellios.
