We welcome you to bring your children to become part of our Church family. Our curriculum promotes spiritual growth through developmentally appropriate activities that stimulate each child’s curiosity in their faith. Our teachers are dedicated volunteers who bring a variety of backgrounds: public and private teachers, professionals, and mothers and fathers.
We look forward to an exciting school year!

Sunday School Year Classes
During the School Year Sunday School classes are held for Pre-Kindergarten through High School in the lower area of the Church in the designated classrooms. Children must be three years old by the time Sunday School starts to enter the program. Otherwise, they wait and enter the following year (not in the middle of the year). We have found that this keeps the continuity of the program along with the maturity of the class.
10:00am - Divine Liturgy - Families worship together
11:15am - Students will go first for Holy Communion. Students will exit through the Right side door of Church, then proceed to their classes downstairs.
When Liturgy is over, you may pick up your student from their Sunday School classroom. Older children will typically go to the Fellowship hall and wait for you in Pappas Hall.
A $10 registration fee is paid per child or $25 per family (with three or more children) at the beginning of the Sunday School year. In addition, students are encouraged to make weekly offerings in their classrooms. The registration and contributions help cover costs for curricula, books, visual aids, school supplies, Christmas gifts, end of year gifts, and other miscellaneous costs. We are unique in that our own St Helen's Philoptochos supports the program financially and emotionally.

Director and Teachers
The program is run by dedicated volunteer teachers and staff. They bring a variety of backgrounds to further enrich the Sunday School program and include: public and private school teachers, academics, professionals, and, or course, mothers and fathers of some of the children. Our Sunday School teachers are encouraged to attend workshops given by the District and Diocese.
