    Palm Sunday is the commemoration of the Entrance of our Lord into Jerusalem following His glorious miracle of raising Lazarus from the dead. Having anticipated His arrival and having heard of the miracle, the people went out to meet the Lord and welcomed Him.

    The 12 Gospels will be read. At the appropriate time in the reading, a cross carrying the icon of the crucified Christ will be carried in procession around the church. This is a very moving and powerful service. We encourage everyone to attend.
