Holy Friday Lamentations
On Great and Holy Friday the Orthodox Church commemorates the death of Christ on the Cross. This is the culmination of the observance of His Passion by which our Lord suffered and died for our sins.

About The Event
The Epitaphio (the cloth icon of Christ) will be placed in the Kouvouklion (the carved canopy or funeral bier representing the tomb of Christ) and we will process around the church. At the end of service flowers will be distributed as a symbol of the hope of the resurrection.
