For those 55 and up. As we approach spring, we thought it would be a good idea to get out and enjoy God's gift of flowers!

About The Event
We will be heading to the Carlsbad Flower Fields on Thursday, April 3 (no baking that day) to enjoy all that is offered there. Besides the acres and acres of Giant Tecolote Ranunculus, we will also have the opportunity to walk through the sweet pea maze, take a tractor ride through the fields, and mine for gemstones at the Carlsbad Mining Company.
Glass in Flight is a breathtaking sculpture exhibit with over 3 dozen larger-than-life sculptures of birds and insects crafted from glass and steel.
If that isn't enough, there is an historical poinsettia display, an orchid greenhouse and more!
From the flower fields we will cross over to the Windmill Food Court where you can purchase lunch from one of the many vendors inside.
Plan to spend about 2 hours at the flower fields before lunch.
